AUGH sorry this took a bit college started up for me last week and i'm like AAUUGHHH whyyy am i going back to schooool lol BUT YES i finished season two OMGGG THE LAST EPISODE i just about had a heart attack fucking silas. like obviously they get out of the whole situation in order for the show to have six or whatever seasons after that but at the moment i was like HOW IS THIS EVEN GOING TO HAPPEN. i'm still panicking because i just watched the first ep of season 3 and fucking celia, throwing the weed into the pool idk idkkk. POOR NANCY so much stress haha
so yesss silas and megan and nancy like i'm almost sad for silas? thinking that he could get megan to stay with him by getting her pregnant like there's no such thing as adoption or abortions and they would live happily ever after with this kid. just so obviously something that's not gonna happen, especially with her getting into princeton (right? lol i don't really remember), i mean, that's A LOT to throw away. just feeling bad for silas and his delusions.
i looove silas' "I'd say it was three weeks ago, in my room, doggystyle...", how he just goes into all this detail even though he's talking to his MOTHER, like he doesn't even care. but SILAS STABBING MEGAN'S DAD like oh, way to leave that bit out lol and then i go back to feeling bad for him because he wanted that life with megan so bad that he freaking stabs her dad, just to get to her?? i almost feel like he wanted megan and that kid so bad, to be like a pretend family sort of, so he and megan could be the parents he never really had? well like obviously judah and nancy were great parents but then judah dies and nancy, try as she might, kind of goes downhill, what with not being able to be there and making horrible decisions. idk just some thoughts haha
i also super love nancy trying so hard to get silas to talk to her. AND GOING TO SUCH LENGTHS. seeing her do all those things, singing and playing her instruments and THE AXE JFC, it really shows how much she does love her kids throughout all that shit.
ok. Yael. YAEL. ok. idk. basically i thought she was kind of fucking awesome? especially since andy seems to be able to get any woman into his bed and here's this gorgeous woman saying that he's not man enough for her? LOVE. and maybe i got off on yael fucking andy a lot more than i thought i would?? ANYWHO. and it was super that she slapped the shit out of andy when he told her he'd be dropping out of the school. like it should've been kind of obvious he wasn't going to stay there forever but she also gave him what he deserved.
ZOOEY. AUUUGH ZOOEEEEY SHE WAS SO FREAKING FABULOOOUUSSS. seriously i loved her before this but seeing her play kat was just ridiculousness all around. and how even though andy said he'd have her out by the next day, the fact that he actually likes her and maybe wants her to stay? i'm not saying she was, like, "the one" for him, but i think kat was pretty good for him. and shane falling her just completed the whole thing. AND i've seen pictures of shane's sideburns and when i first saw him i was like wtfff so kat saying that i was like FORESHADOWINGGG haha
overall another ridic season and i shan't stop watching!

Seriously though that season finale, it is like the most cliffhanger-y of all season finales. IT'S SO GOOD. And yeah, even though you KNOW things must get figured out, you just can't imagine HOW. And then season 3 kicking off with MORE CLIFFHANGERS is just the best. The writing on this show is just - I can't wrap my head around it.
POOR DELUDED SILAS. I totally get what you mean about him maybe wanting to recreate the family they once had, like - I mean a normal teenage boy's reaction to his girlfriend getting pregnant would probably be more like AUUUUGH NOOOOO but Silas makes it happen on purpose, and then is ridiculously excited and romantic about the whole thing, and I think that says a lot about him and his own childhood. Like he feels like he's lost his own family, everything is going to shit, and maybe he could make another family where things would be perfect. Silaaaas.
Srsly though when he's going into detail about the ~conception, it's like, SILAS, THAT IS YOUR MOTHER. I get that he's winding her up because she's being all "I want to know" and he knows she doesn't, but STILL. Again, most teenage boys would probably rather die than recount their sexual adventures to a parent. Once again: Silaaaaaaaaas.
The bit with Nancy trying to get him to talk to her is one of my favourites. Because like, she's mad at him for everything and he's just been a total idiot, but she can't stand seeing him so upset. And it's like, ugh, throughout the whole season they just keep MISSING each other, like she desperately wants him to talk to her but he won't, and there's a bit where he tells her to stop seeing him as a kid and to talk to him, and SHE WON'T.
ffffff glad you agree about Yael, she was AWESOME. SO AWESOME. And yeah, I liked that she called Andy out on his shit and wasn't just going to be like "sure, I'll sleep with you" just because that's what he wanted. And I love that even though the strap-on thing clearly freaked him out a bit, he was willing to try it, because it was her. (And that was TOTALLY HOT btw.) There's a bit in s4 where Nancy threatens to squeeze Andy's balls til he gives her his car keys (...that will make sense when you get to it) and he says "...I miss Yael." ♥
KAT WAS THE BEST GIRLFRIEND THOUGH. PURELY FOR HER INSANITY. I think they were kind of weirdly perfect for each other actually. I mean, she's not HEALTHY for him, but that sort of craziness kinda seems to be what he needs. It's why he sticks with Nancy all this time. Like he kind of needs this impulsive woman in his life who'll make him do things he wouldn't usually do. I feel like he'd get bored with anyone else, you know?
LOL the sideburns. I really want to know if they drew on that line of Kat's when they were planning stuff for season 7, like if they were trying to find ways of making Shane look three years older and they were like "WAIT! INTERESTING THINGS WITH FACIAL HAIR!" or if it was just a total coincidence. Either way: awesome, Kat is clearly clairvoyant. Ugh god it probably seems weird to you at this point because Shane's still so tiny, but I want Kat/older!Shane so bad.
SO GLAD YOU'RE STILL ENJOYING THE SHOW YAY. ♥ And on an unrelated note, you should join yelchinfactory! It's a comm for like, fanworks related to Anton and his characters, and there might be a kink meme soon, and overall it is just an awesome idea that you should be a part of in some way. :D?

YES, ANDY WOULD SO TOTALLY DO THAT. And Shane would be like "stop being such a perv" but secretly he'd enjoy it, and okay, maybe sometimes he thinks about Andy when he's with Kat, and Kat's so WEIRD that she'd probably be comparing their technique out loud anyway, probably getting a kick out of it as well.
