i love love love that basically two seconds into the description of the case, it's not hotch or prentiss or jj or anyone that thinks of nathan, it's reid, the one that spends this whole time trying to deny it and the first person in his mind as the unsub is nathan. WHICH IS TERRIBLE because he knooows that no matter how good of a kid nathan is or how hard nathan tries to get past all the homicidal urges, gideon's right and it's only a matter of when nathan kills, not if, he's always known this but there's SO MUCH DENIAL. IT'S OKAY BABY

LISTENING TO THE TAAAPE. i can hear nathan's voice in my head, giving the replies, and imagining the look on hotch's face, even before learning of nathan's "crush", because to reid, nathan's just this innocent little kid and to hear this small voice on the tape talking about killing these women and enjoying it YOUR WRITING MAKES ME WRITE IN RUN-ON SENTENCES I APOLOGIZE. uuugggh. and i love how gideon knows exactly why nathan went to reid and how he's going to get nathan to say it, whether he wants to or not, and, when i think about it, it's probably the first time nathan's ever admitted it aloud, that he's attracted to reid, this older man, and to have to admit it to some stranger during a psychological test I CAAAN'TT. so many problems with this kid, for this kid

awwh and reid detoxing is just. it's so weird because i really truly think reid had to have visited nathan while he was addicted to the dilaudid I SWEAR HE DID and so to see it written in the fic it's like. aauughghfff. ok seriously. your writing is like. so straight forward and totally bullshit-less haha like. detoxing is not a pretty thing. and you've written that. the chills, the hot flashes, he's just skin and bone, reid's complete disgust with himself but he can't get over nathan saying he looked so sick and being able to tell just right away and reid wants to get over this for nathan and himself, i mean. YOU'VE WRITTEN THAT and it's not sugarcoated like "oh reid looked a little ill but got over it quickly as he detoxed" and whatnot because that's not real life and what i've got on my screen right now is.
