Day 1 Promise met...
It seems I did well and have indeed kept my own promise to myself and I am writing my blog here. Rather proud of that since I don't stick to things for long unless I have a true passion for them.
Today was a good day, I relaxed in the morning with a friend and watched HIGH&LOW with her. She's not a jpop fan nor as into LDH aritsts as I but she seemed to enjoy the first season. We plan to watch the second tomorrow. I've regained my immense love for all things Takahiro does. From his singing, guitar playing, acting and even his dorky Bakahiro side. The man is amazing and deserves the respect he gets. While Hayato from GENE is my bias in LDH, Takanori and Takahiro are right there up on that level of respect I have for them. SWAY and Ryuuji also are high but I don't know how high just yet. LDH is my happy place, from the music to the dorky guys and girls themselves they never fail to make me smile on a rough day.
A lot has changed in the past 6 months. I was a hardcore kpop only stan up until October of 2016 and then I was lured into the magic of Jpop and its wonders. LDH quickly took over and I love the lack of drama and mess that Jpop fandoms are. Or at least I haven't run into any really big issues yet with the fandoms. I'm just happy to have found something again that I can go to when I don't really feel like myself and need a pick me up.
I recently watched RED RAIN, Omi and Takahiro are just flawless as usual in it and I still cry everytime I repeat it. They did an amazing job telling the story and will be one of my favs of the HIGH&LOW series. I want more back story on some of the other gangs and I hope we get more with the two new movies. Be as I might adore Cobra its not the Cobra show anymore I need more SWORD :) Anyways I'll stop rambling about LDH now and finally get some sleep before work tomorrow.
