The next part of Bryce’s dream was prom. Bryce woke up early the day of prom because she had an appointment to get her nails done at 9:30. Bryce left the nail place at 10:30 with her new French manicure. Next Bryce went to her hair appointment. Bryce was having her hair curled and pinned up, with some pieces of hair left out to frame her face. It took close to an hour and a half for Bryce’s hair to be done. Bryce stopped at the flower shop on her way home from her appointments to pick up Jason’s boutonniere. Bryce finally got home around 1. The limo was supposed to arrive at her house around 3 after it picked up Jason, Charlie, Grace, Travis, and Hayden. They were going to take pictures in Bryce’s back yard until around 4:30. Then they would drive around in the limo for about a half hour before heading to Applebee’s where they and some of their friends rented out the party room from 5 until 6:30. After dinner they would head to prom, which was from 7 until 11. The procession was at 11 and usually lasted until midnight. Bryce at lunch and finally started to get ready at 2. Bryce finished her make up and putting on her jewelry around 2:30. Bryce wasn’t going to get into her dress and shoes until right before 3, but her mom wanted to take pictures. Bryce got into her dress and was ready for pictures by 2:45. When her mom was done taking pictures all Bryce had to do was wait for her friends to arrive. Bryce decided to wait in the living room so she could watch television. She set her purse, which matched her silver shoes, on the coffee table along with her camera and Jason’s boutonniere. The limo arrived at 3, just like they planned. Bryce greeted her friends with hugs as they came in the front door. Charlie and Grace were followed by Travis and Hayden who were followed by Jason. Bryce grabbed Jason’s boutonniere off the table and quickly pinned it on his tuxedo. She then hugged him and quickly kissed him. Jason slipped Bryce’s corsage on her wrist. Then Jason took Bryce’s hand as they walked out to the backyard. Jason leaned down and whispered in Bryce’s ear.

“You look so pretty Bryce”

“Thanks, Jason, you look very handsome too”

“Thanks.” Jason said holding the door open for Bryce. When they went outside Hayden, Travis, Grace, Charlie and Bryce’s mom were all talking.

“So, do you want to take the pictures now?” Bryce asked as she and Jason got closer to the group. First Bryce’s mom took pictures of all 3 couples separately. Then she took pictures of the 6 of them together. Then she took pictures of the girls and then finally of the guys. The pictures were finally finished at 4:25. They all said goodbye to Bryce’s mom before getting into the limo and heading to Applebees. They were able to just ride around for 20 minutes because Applebees wasn’t that far away from Bryce’s house. After dinner they took some more group pictures and then headed to the dance. The dance flew by and before anyone knew it, it was the last song of the night. It was “Collide” by Howie Day. Jason and Bryce danced to the song enjoying the last few minutes of their prom. During the closing notes of the song Jason leaned down to Bryce’s ear and whispered “I love you.” Bryce smiled and kissed Jason on the cheek before saying,

“I love you too.” After procession Jason, Bryce, Grace, Charlie, Travis and Hayden went back to Bryce’s house to hang out for the night. They made a bonfire and stayed outside for most of the night just listening to music and talking.
