I'm accepted at Portland State. Two-year Master of Urban Studies degree including free cross-registration into the University of Oregon's urban design program. 8-12 Masters students per year, coursework shared with the incoming PhD class, and the possibility of a Graduate Research Assistantship once I prove I can write up original research.

I got my rejection letter from MIT this morning. Can't say I'm surprised, but I am bummed; their program was really appealing. On the other hand, if I get accepted at PSU this makes my decision a lot easier. And Austin is still pursuing me. And this means I am, almost guaranteed, moving away from Eternal Winter.
