Satoko
She's one of the few friends Hoshi had in Heliud. During the bloodbath that Hamdo had, she was killed. Her story, however brief it was, will never be forgotten and will be told when Hoshi herself can get out of Heliud.
Remus
She met him while making a run to the infirmary. Ever since telling her own story of what her life was like, and even knowing that they came from the same village before it was destroyed by Heliud, it has made her stay in Heliud just that more enjoyable. She has confided in him with her secret about her gender, and he helped her out when she got a concussion from trying to help out one of the comfort slaves. And, even with her male disguise still going well, she's developing a crush on him that only seems to be growing.
She has since vowed to protect him and show that he's not a monster, effectively leading to her confessing her love for him. They've been together for some time now, and Hoshi hasn't been happier since.
Reishun
One of the kids that Hoshi takes care of. She met her in Heliud while on her rounds for the comfort slaves. She helped her take care of the scratches on her arms that she remarked as, "making pretty." For showing her kindness, Ushindi hit her in the head with his gun. Nevertheless, Hoshi is determined to help Reishun be the best girl she can be.
Lucky
Another one of the children Hoshi takes care of. He calls her mommy as well as Super Hoshi. He also believes that she has the power to change into a boy on her whim. He's part of Corps 77, where she also met Remus. When she was in the infirmary due to a concussion, Lucky gave her wilting wildflowers that she kept pressed in one of the books she took from Heliud.
