It's time for me to hit the sack, and I wanted to read some before I went to bed, so here I am at the light reading of Hosea chs.1-2. This is for all the people who think Israel is replaced by the Church. "Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them,'You are not My people,'there is shall be said to them,'You are sons of the living God.' Chapter 2 goes on to talk about God's stubborn love and how even in the midst of judgement, God's mercy is still extended. I can hear the the words of Jesus speaking to Judas,"Friend, why have you come?" Even till the bitter end, I think God wanted to save Judas. I pray that we all learn to die to self. I think we can be a poor testimony to most people, and even to our wives and husbands, but in the end, we'll answer to God. Even if I were to live a perfect life from now until Jesus comes back, the thought of answering to God with what He has given me is sobering. Sweet dreams everyone.
