HOME HOME ON THE RANGE!

Well, come Tuesday, I will be signing papers and giving a large check to a loan company for closing costs on my house I am buying. It has taken nearly 5 months to get all the proper paperwork finished and funds raised to get to this point. The current owner will be helping me out a little on the closing costs so that they can get the BIGGER check of $125,000 for the cost of the home. These people are probably some of the best friends someone could have. About a year and a half ago they decided they didn't like their job and quit, wasn't paying enough. And started looking around, all the way from HOlland MI to Chicago IL, to Detroit MI. For about 6 months they were split between one in Chicago the other in Detroit. With some arrangement I have been taking care of the house and know much about it. Also over the last 5 years or so my dad and I have helped them fix up the house. A big part that I know is its in VERY good condition, but now I need to find a renter for the upper floor.

I am excited, and nervous. I don't know if this is truly the decision I should make or not. But I am making it never less. Come tuesday it will be mine. Then I get to spend days hauling all my STUFF/junk from next door at my parents to my house.

At sometime in the near future Lorena will be moving in with me. We have talked about moving in together right away, before marriage, but our families wouldn't like that. We don't have a problem, and in many cases Lorena would benefit from moving away from home and into my home. I wont be stealing her stuff, at least not intentionally. I am unsure of how our families would react if we told them we were moving in together. I think they would simply say its a bad idea but our decision, we are adults after all.

Well, enough for the night, its WAY too late and I have to spend my day with Lorena's family, should be okay, but I envision lots of complaining...

Night all

-Mike
