[Jack has since made his way back to Violet City after getting his egg, deciding it would be better for it to be inside; and that way, he could keep an eye on both the egg and Karp. Huh... I'll just name it Ray, seeing as that's what it reminds me of.

[Ray finally makes its way over to Jack and begins to chew on the hem of his shirt. Upon moving it, he just finds that the shirt is covered in drool; Ray wasn't biting the fabric, just sucking on it.]

Well... I don't mean a gear, a Metal Gear where I'm from was a huge machine capable of all kinds of destruction. It just so happens that the mass-produced ones had a similar shape to this Pokemon... they had tails, though.
