Verstile Arts, up in Greenwood.
I would consider signing up for their Intro class, and possibly a Training membership. It would be most beneficial for me to have a place to go to during the week (outside of lessons) to work on basics like my mounts. I STILL feel like a walrus flopping around on the beach trying to get up there - it ain't pretty! But it CAN be!

I wonder if Gretchen would be interested in splitting the cost of a private lesson with me...? Or hey! There's another teacher based down on Alki! Who knew there were so many aerial options in Seattle?
[no, this does not mean I'm abandoning The Cabiri. Just looking for options to keep in practice whilst they prepare a show/have classes that I can't attend for various reasons]
Woman's Head Portrait by Da Vinci.
I went back up to the consignment shop in Ballard, but alas, it has been sold (so nicely framed and everything, too!). So, I went around to check on ebay, et voila! There's a decently sized glicee for $26 (with S&H), and if I spent about $15 on framing, the price would break about even. I haven't bought it... yet. But I'm finding myself feeling very strongly about this painting, and really wanting to invite her in to share some wall space with Ophelia, The Lady of Shalott, and the other pre-Raphaelite women.
Little Miss Chatterbox T-shirt.
I might have totally just ordered this tee. Or I might have DEFINITELY just have ordered it, haha. Verily, I am very verbose in the vernacular vox. :P
Pope Joan by Donna Woolfolk Cross.
I am currently reading this book, and am finding it fascinating. The legend remains debatable, but the book is highly entertaining. The story, whether true or not, has a great deal of historical research behind it, and the underlying premise of the book, that women were believed to be less than men in all ways, certainly makes me grateful for the greater equality we enjoy today. Recommended reading!
SideNote: I'm not really focusing on my 75 book challenge right now. This LEED studying is sucking up 90% of my available reading time. I think I've read... maybe 5 books this year so far??
