Lots of fun things are happening. Good things. Happy things. Simple things.
* Shawn and I had our one-month anniversary last night (stop laughing! one month means a lot to me, even if I'm fully aware that I'm being ridiculous). We had a super-fantastic dinner at Jak's Grill in West Seattle, he had filet mignon that melted in your mouth, I had spicy prawns that caused a little happy dance in my mouth, a bottle of red wine, and chocolate cake for dessert (he loves chocolate cake. And gummi candy, apparently). Then we came home and started watching V for Vendetta in honor of the day ("Remember, remember the 5th of November..."), but we fell asleep spooning on the couch watching it. It was pretty much... perfect.
* My Lady Godiva is in the shop as we speak, getting repaired. Until then, I am driving a 2008 dark blue Chevy Impala. Remote start is awesome, but I had problems with the seat adjustments. I will be glad to drive my little economy-sized car!
* Because the car is getting taken care of, I do not have to deal with Jerkface McBastard anymore. As soon as the repairs are made, State Farm will know exactly how much to go after him for, and it's utterly out of my hands. I will be so glad when this is aaaaaaall done.
* I am wearing a maraschino-cherry-red brocade jacket today. There is nothing like that in the world to make a girl feel special (if she didn't already, :P)
* I am hosting Grey's Anatomy night on Thursday, and am serving a pepperoni-pizza casserole. Yay, easy!
* I get my CPR/First Aid certification renewed tomorrow. I can save lives!
* This weekend, Shawn and I are going wine-tasting in Woodinville (his suggestion). I am delighted with this plan!
* I am eating a satsuma, which are in season right now. Whoever thought to cram so much delicious edible sunshine into a conveniently sized package was brilliant. Makes mouths happy!
* Just about everything is going well at this point, more than what I've posted above but not really that interesting. I want to preserve the way I'm feeling in bottles and sell it. Or rather, give it away, because this sort of thing is priceless.
