i spent four hours grading papers last night and wished someone would come over and stab chopsticks in my eyes. i didn't even finish.
i requested today off because i registered for an education conference currently going on at depaul, but instead i slept late and started the day off right on the danana phone for 2.5 hours. i think it's really funny when i defy myself by doing something like this. oh, internal conflict turned outward.
i've got some raviolis going on the stove. then i will probably go buy a new vacuum to clean up the lightbulb shards that have been on my bathroom floor for over a week. i should also go pick up my tips and see when i'm working tomorrow...
i went out on wednesday, disregarding the fact that i had to be up at 6:30 on thursday. we went to see some house djs at logan square lanes and it wasn't out of control, but it was fun. i saw bryn and tessie there, which was strange. in the year and a half since i've seen them, they've both moved back home. anyway, $17 for two games, two rum and cokes, and shoes. i got three strikes and two spares and sucked azz the rest of the time, but no matter. left at 1, got home at 2, woke up at 6:30. ms. lindsay was pretty cranky, poor dears.
i'm growing my hair out, but right now it looks totally crazy in the morning. well, not just in the morning. with any less than like 5 pins in it, it's scurrrry. i need to get myself a straightening iron.
tonight, more house at a gallery opening near uic... maybe up to the riverwest clubs later, depending on what happens.
