Leaving the metro today, I found Montreal had been suddenly wreathed in fog.

The streetlights turned into gaslights from the Victorian era, and the park into a lonely stretch of moor.

I once had a friend of mine who tends bar tell me that she always treated me well at the bar because I was good at running interference. Namely, in cases where there was a client (almost exclusively male) who was having trouble with respecting the boundaries and personal space of herself or other clients at the bar, I was good at acting as an extra ( Read more... )

Due to the fact I am off to Boston for the weekend after next, I have to pass on a day-long photography workshop I've already bought off of Living Social. My dad can't take it, so I open it up to anyone who might want to take my place? It would be Sunday, Feb 12.

The cat-burglar thing is still being negotiated, although finding the elements to clothe her remains tricky. Regardless, the kicker is getting the extra props. I can swing a small flashlight easily enough, but does anyone have something which might pass as night-vision goggles? How about a utility belt of some kind?
