A stupid, stupid thing
Honestly, who still thinks having a car alarm is at all worthwhile? Since everyone felt compelled to go out and get a car with one, and they all go off at the drop of a hat, no one pays attention to the blasted things. Since the owner is nowhere in sight/doesn't care/unable to disarm, they go off for as long as the timer allows- which, in the case of the one outside my room, is now going on 40 minutes with no end in sight. Car alarms are stupid, stupid things.
