In merry old England
I'm in London, and I finally know I'll be working at a place called GovNet, specifically in a startup sort of section called Inside Government. Its right on Trafalgar Square and has a Tube stop right on the same block. It sounds like I'll be able to do a whole range of things too- from setting up 50 person political events to thinking up ideas for new conferences (and all the research in between). It all starts Monday at 10AM.
So, till then, I'll be
A) figuring out how to spend as little as possible and still get good food,
B) wandering around London and checking it all out,
C) finding out what museums are free and during what times
