digital photography dwarfs film in it's appeal.
everyone wants that vivid color, that glossy richness, that crisp clarity.
it's what today's eye craves.
in a way i hate it though, and I almost flipped my lid in the photo critique today.
mostly, because i had to accept that yes, film will die.
yesterday i saw an enlarger, canisters, trays, and tongs in someone's driveway.
had I space, I would have taken them, just because someday, that will mean something.
If you take Sylvia Plath and make her ten times better you get Anne Sexton.
