aww fingerprinting has gotten so sophisicated these days
Another
day gone... tis a shame really how I wasted it. Not totally wasted I
guess. I did get up and finsih up my management responsibilities for
one of the last times. Was kinda sad really. Then I went and bugged
Trudy for most of the day while I waited for my paycheck to come
around. I adore that girl... she truly is amazing. So when Jim (TCBY
Owner/Boss) came into state I begged him for my check he laughed and
said ok... I followed him out to his car. He dug out my check from the
parkcenter pile and looked at me and said in a very sad tone... " Hey
Elissa, I really have appreciated all you have done for me and this
company and I know you weren't going to stick around here forever. I
really am going to miss you, you have been a great employee."
Shocker! Was not expecting that... he meant it too. Was truly sad I was
leaving. What a relief, to be honest I was somewhat depressed when he
said nothing to me when I put my 2 weeks notice in. I was like screw
TCBY!!! Now not so much... kinda sad to leave. It'll be good though to
move on to other things and not be so stressed out. Still 3 and a half
years is a long time and I never did see the end. On a new note I did
go to the airport(place of my new employment) to be finger printed
today. Was done by a fancy machine with like a little mini scanner that
you put your fingers on and it scans your finger print. Didn't like my
pinky though... had to scan that one about 10 times until it accepted
it. After those go through then I get to take some dinky test over a
security video... then I can start work. I hope they put me at the
Moxie but that is what everybody wants to do so unlikely...we'll see
how it goes. I loved autumn!!! Especially the rain! Was perfect out
today! Well I should go take my geology quiz and finish up my lab for
tomorrow.
