The other day i was walking across the street "illegally" as it were since opposing traffic had the green light, but there weren't cars anywhere close to coming by. Pedestrians have this option - if i want to cross the street i don't actually have to wait for a walk signal. and it occurred to me - this is how it should be for cars too.

so there's a site called klockit that sells 24-hour clock parts that are [fairly inexpensive]. I had this idea of taking one of my old broken crash cymbals and turning that into a 24-hour clock. i figured, buy the parts, find a way to affix it through the center hole of the broken cymbal, hang it on the wall, simple.

i'm waiting for the iPad/iPhone influence to cause a software patch for QWERTY keyboards that makes the [shift] key function in the same way as it does on an iPad/iPhone.

it's kind of a stupid idea, but as far as i'm concerned, so is any sort of iOS concept on a non-iOS machine, which is clearly not stopping Apple from its approach to Lion.
