i spent a couple of hours today messing around with playing iidx 14key on s-random or random with each side on separate speed scrolls whilst holding the start button during the song (called 'window hold').
4s and 5s weren't too difficult. 6s got more complicated and i had to pick and choose a 6 that i thought was feasible and then practice it.
almost all 7s were flat out impossible, although i got super close to passing "contract" L14 which is a 7, manly because of the nature of the chart. It's still difficult though - after about forty-five minutes of hoping to find a good s-random, the closest i got was in the red half of the time and then ending with 76 percent.
so that's my current iidx goal. pass contract L14 on S-Random with window hold. i'll probably then make a youtube video of the various ones i captured just so others can see how trippy it is.
but right now, i think i'm going to get some pho, then wander over to the UofO campus to see if i can catch the drum ine playing.
i have a huuuuuge entry about facebook coming in the very near future.
i also may write about the DCI 2007 broadcast on ESPN2, just because it was fascinating to see that they got
[Steve Young] to speak positive things about the activity having been an audience member this year.
