boys at this age disturb me and frankly if you notice a guy's seesawing from interested to disinterested for me, it is either a red flag for the typical 20-something guy syndrome. essentially, before most guys approach their thirties, they pretty much want to invest in themselves, every whim; it's as if they're not even with you mentally or physically, but just playing out some scenario/expectation. of course they still want sex and when pressed claim to want a girlfriend, but they never do because after the moment (drunk) passes, the fog clears and they remember who's number one, and you become a part of the backdrop to their personal narrative. and you shouldn't play into his sappy 'i shouldn't have hurt you,' bit: he doesn't even understand the words coming out of his mouth, it's like some foreigner who has to read English in a drama and pronounces each and every word on point but has none of the tone and emotion behind the verbiage. screw him! your heart doesn't deserve a 2-d gumby.
