I had a good break. Time at home was kind of cold and went by fast, but overall I enjoyed it. On Monday my mom and I got to sleep in and then we went out to lunch at the Olive Garden, got my car fixed, new wind shield wipers, and made a fun trip to target to get some stuff. I also went running, and for a walk with my dad when he got home from work, and it snowed on us and almost blew us away. We had a pretty good talk though. Sometimes I think my dad kinda just likes to distance himself from things going on in my life and my sisters, kind of "shields his eyes" or says "out of sight out of mind" He always is a person to give us the benefit of the doubt. But it was nice to hear his opinion on some things. He also talks to me about work, so thats cool cuz I feel like we're at a level where he looks at me more like an adult now and that I can understand where he is coming from. We also made plans to go out in two weeks when I come home, so that should be fun. Tuesday I had an eye appt and got new contacts. woot. Wednesday I dyed my hair, blonde once again, but not too blonde. And I got it chopped, which I like. One of my favorite hair cuts so far.
Thursday, Friday and Sunday mornings I worked. I worked pretty much the entire time I was back, between Gap and the Bakery, but I made about 85 dollars in tips thruogh those three days, so thats not soo bad. April and I went shopping Friday which is always great. I dont like to shop alone =)
For St. Patty's day we went over to Ben's house, little party but we went out to the bars afterwards with Isaac and his roommate. We went to a bar where they knew hte bartender so we got free drinks. free drinks=wasted Jenny. That night was fun, Isaac was my long lost lover...haha. Going back to the days when him and I made out in my bathroom and then he hid in the closet when someone had to use it so we wouldn't be akward walking out together. So I came home Saturday morning then layed around til work...Saturday night Isaac and I went to a movie. It's nice to be taken out somewhere and do something fun. it's been forever. He also walked me home....WHEN was the last time that happened?! I'm not falling for him. I know how Isaac is, and I guess I can compare it to me----not good with commitment. So we'll have fun with no expectations
Worked today for 14 hours, ran 4 miles, and now I'm off to watch my shows with April. I love Sunday nights
