The Magic Melody
Another day, another exhaustive day because I slept poorly. I managed to fall asleep at a decent time but was up a handful of time. Our cat decided to be a hoe at 6:40 AM. She wanted to cry for a while. Apparently she knocked some stuff off the TV stand too. I have to look for it.
Day 6:

I'd be a liar if I said I didn't listen to this because I love Panic Switch. That bass line. The lyrics. Ugh. It's possibly in my top 10 of all time favorite songs. I was surprised I had heard a few of the other songs already too ("The Royal We", "There's No Secrets This Year"). I was also surprised this CD was so short. With 10 tracks, there wasn't a lot of variety. That was disappointing. By the end, I was able to hear similar basslines or melodies in a couple different tracks. I didn't dislike the album but I'm also unsure if I will ever reach for it again.
