scintillating conversation

so exhausted. eyes watering, back sore. feel like i must have put in too much screen time, the old neuro-net disoriented by computer emissions. to make matters worse, my gastronomic processeses are on the fritz - badly so - leaving me dehydrated. "until he died... of dysentery." - christopher walken, pulp fiction. a hell of a way to go out...

the office: a parody of real life. an odd, twilight zone where expressing yourself is taboo but silence is discouraged. as a result, conversations like the ones tonight take place between more energetic co-workers:

"i don't mind will farrell when he's in other people's movies, but when it's his comedy i don't like it."
"yeah i'm not a huge fan of... no i can't even say that. i'm DEFINITELY not a fan of will farrell."
"yeah."
"also, my dad can't stand jack black."
"i'm not a big jack black fan."
"my dad says jack black is just trying to fill chris farley's shoes... and he just.can't.cut.it." [each word emphasized like jack black's not cutting it is of grave importance.]
"chris farley was nothing to get excited over either."
"yeah."
"and owen wilson. now i like him when it's his movie or when he's co-starring, but when he's got a bit role i can't stand him. like when he was in the royal tenenbaums. he.was.terrible."
"but that was just a bit role."
"yeah i can't stand him in bit roles."

as tupac says: i wake up every morning and i ask myself / is life worth living? should i blast myself?
