Sansa hurried along the path. Between the time she had spent being upset, being comforted and burning the books - near burning herself if not for Caspian's watchful self - it was far longer than any possible trip to the compound could have taken. She would have to beg Susan's pardon but thought that her goodsister would understand. And along with the material for baby clothing, she did have gifts.
She had not dared take the time to divide the entirety of the wardrobe up, not with Susan and probably Eddara waiting for her. She hoped Eddara was behaving though she did not react as badly as Rickon could when left with family. Of course she was older than Rickon so he might grow out of that. Still the things she had pulled for the wardrobe might be at least a bit of an apology - and an explanation for her absence. The things obviously had not originated on the island. Of course despite washing her face, her eyes were still red from crying so there was that as well.
She had a blue silk gown, with a cloth of silver bodice - it would need altering of course. The other gift was a little more impressive. A
jeweled collar of sapphire and pearl, the Arryn colours of course but both Sansa and Susan looked well in blue.
She knocked on the door, "Susan," she called. "I'm sorry I was so long," she could not hear the children fussing at least so perhaps they had behaved for Susan and not fought anymore.
