China happiness
Just a short update. It's crazy that my life is so hectic, but in all the ways that are far too boring to update on. However, life was really happy yesterday. Our small wedding ceremony is going to be May 10, 2009 and only 10 adults and 3 kids will be there. Well, we only have an 8 piece set of dishes and they are something more sensible, plain white Corelle, than I would have liked to use anyway. Well, William and I were wandering around an antique store in downtown Kearney and guess what we spied! A full set of really pretty China. It has a really pretty scrollwork design around the rim. On sale, even better. Well, it ended up we got all the dinner plates, dessert plates, saucers, cups, bowls, serving platter, two serving bowls, creamer and sugar holder for only $35! I'm so excited! I can't wait to set up the table for our dinner party after the ceremony! That is even cheaper than renting!
I guess that's the highlight of my life recently. I'm still really enjoying playing house with William. As much as I was against living with someone before marriage, I am am almost a believer now. Understanding what it takes, I'm appreciative that I know the amount of compromise it takes. Sure, there are moments when my temper flares, but most of the time its really awesome to have a buddy to help with the laundry or go to Wal-Mart. I'm also really enjoying pre-marital counseling. It helps a lot and I would suggest counseling to even serious couples who aren't even engaged yet. School is okay, but its seriously exhausting me. And wedding planning has been in high gear as well. It's absolutely unbelievable, but in such a good way.
