I guess there are a million things I could write about. I'll sum them all up pretty quickly. I'm in a beautiful new apartment because I successfully broke my lease with my old owner because my apartment flooded, we are talking standing water, every time it even thought about raining in Kearney. The new apartment is fixed up, has a much cleaner and newer feel, and I happened to move three houses down from my old apartment. We adopted another little cat, this time a lilac point siamese. She is such a little sweetheart, thought very timid and scared in her new home, especially with Madison not being very nice to her. Hopefully things work out a little better in the next month or so. William named her Suki, which is Japanese for "loved one." It fits her very well.
Being engaged so far is a lot of fun. Living with William is even better. Here is just a little story I have, and it will serve to show how lucky I am. Last week we had a "discussion" on how one should put utencils in the drying rack. He argued one way and I argued another, and it wasn't a big deal, but we still did argue about it. Make up, get on with your lives. Well, William did the dishes last night, without saying anything, and put the utencils in the drying rack the way I argued for, I saw them this morning when I got up to make his lunch. I know it really wasn't a big deal, but for some reason... its important that the little things are important to him.
Other than that, its fun trying to plan a wedding. I'm not that far into it, but it looks like we will be visiting a few different places on the 26th and going to a bridal show as well. I may even start a craft project with William's nephew Jakob. I'm really looking forward to it. I've received a lot of engagement cards and gifts and they all have been great, but my mom got me two different types of memory notebooks so I can keep track of stuff and keep track of memories.... which I love! If anyone will be in the Wichita area late December and wants to go dress shopping... it looks like I will be going with my Mom, Susan, and Kim on Dec. 20th. Even more fun stuff :D
Anyway, should head off to class now. Miss everyone :D
