Why I don't update livejournal EVER...

May 11, 2008 00:01

So, I randomly decided to sign on to livejournal tonight and see if anyone ever uses this thing anymore, and saw that someone commented anonymously on my last post, which was back in October, when everything was pretty much hell with my ex.

The anonymous posting was this:

"i hope karma keeps on reaming you in the ass because for the shit you've done because it's definitely well earned. one day you're going to need saving and i hope whoever you ask for it from walks away from you without giving you a second thought. because that's justice for us all."

I find this... pretty humorous, for a number of reasons. I mean, I could go off on the whole "If you got something to sayyyyyy, you should say it to my faaaccccceeeee" bullshit, but really, we're beyond that. I do wonder, however, why someone would post something so vehement without signing their work. If you feel so incredibly intensely in your hatred for me (I'm flattered, btw, that you would expend so much energy on me), then why not attach your name to it as well?

After thinking about it, the only person that I can think of that would even look at my profile/posts and comment in such a way is Laurin. She's the only one that I can think of that enjoys hiding behind a thin veil of words behind a screen and never seems to be able to communicate effectively otherwise. I suppose we've all been guilty of it at some point in our lives... just most of us have outgrown it.

On a different note, things are going pretty well lately. Working in an *amazing* substance abuse facility, doing assessments, running groups, etc.; got one more year left for my Master's, and then I'm done with school for a while; playing Rugby with the Brooklyn Women's team, which is totally amazing and awesome; jamming on guitar with a few awesome chicks when we can; & dating a really awesome woman- good head on her shoulders, NOT caught up in her ex's (thank GOD), great job (HS Guidance Counselor), owns her own Co-Op, and treats me like gold. We're 4 months strong thus far, and things are going pretty well. She's 4'11", and tiny, so I can literally stuff her in gym lockers and fling her around. It's awesome. :)

That's it for now-- good things, positive energies, and no bullshit. Yay. :)
