moving... yeah.. bigger house with a yard.
It was kind of random to be moving right now. We were looking at houses in our town in a certain neighborhood and were ready to put a bid on one. My mom mentioned it to my aunt who said she had a house in that neighborhood and would gladly rent it to us dirt cheap way under market value.
hmmmm so 350k for a house we are just ok with or $900 for a nice house that we can rent? really a no brainer. Finally some kids in our neighborhood!
Vinh finally took the plunge to get his oracle master certification and to finish up his 4 year degree (he has 2-2 year degrees in computers). All the indian contrators at work have 1 or 2 master degrees so he feels kind of like he doesn't have enough education in comparison to them (but hey he isn't doing too bad considering). His work is really insteresting ...at least for a comp sci junky like me... I really miss working in that sort of environment.
I miss school so much... I read all of vinh's course material for one of his current courses Unix development and another in Oracle Sql development. I wish our uni offered these sort of things. I really liked our college but felt it was a lot of theory and not very practical. Where as vinh's program is very development, hands-on based and one could easily jump into a software group after graduation.
