Did you see (one of the) latest FanLib idiocies? Walden Media and 20th Century Fox have decided to participate in the violation and mutilation of Susan Cooper's "The Dark is Rising" series from the seventies through a film version by David L. *sigh* Actually, I believe it's set in England, but Will and his family are Americans. Which, just, GODS, drives me batty. HI, HOLLYWOOD. I DO NOT NEED WILL TO BE AMERICAN TO ENJOY THIS MOVIE. EVEN THOUGH I AM AMERICAN MYSELF.

*cough* I have issues. And writing movie-based fanfic for TDR would set off my issues once again, I'm fairly certain.
