Avoided a major breakdown last week. I felt so overwhelmed, and wasn't so sure I could handle it. I slid into the weekend barely. The dead zone is really kicking my butt. I know I mentioned the hot water tank before, and now it went for real! I took today off of work, and had to get it replaced! The real blessing was that Kathryn's cousin is in town, and did the job for us! I use to credit a $400 water heater. New hot water tank put in for no labor cost at all. God is really good to us. Today was our first "No TV Monday." Once everyone was home, no tv was used. No movies or television shows. We used out time to do interactive things as a family. We had dinner together, which is awesome! With my schedule it hardly ever happens. Then we played candy land, and then Kathryn read a books to the kids and they went to bed. ^My dad sent a check for $40 for the girls Christmas presents and a letter saying that the family wasn't getting together and that it wasn't a good time for them. And maybe some other time.
