Oh come on!
I found the exact same toilet roll holder at Home Depot. I looked online at the installation manual and made sure that it had the same wall mount and everything. So it should just be a case of popping off the busted one and slipping on the new one, right? NO. NO OF COURSE NOT. They changed the wall mount on the thing. And there are anchor screws and shit to deal with, and WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LET ME BE SNEAKY, HOME DEPOT? WHY CAN'T YOU LET ME LIVE. I think I can do it. I just... hope I don't make a gnarly hole in the wall lmao.
And... my electric drill is not drilling like at all. Hopefully it just needs to charge, and I'll be able to get it done. Otherwise I'll have to contact my landlord AND then say LOL yeah I tried to do it on my own and LOL yeah the holes I started aren't really lined up with one another and I should probably just die.
To sum up: I hate renting. I hate worrying about being blamed for every little thing that goes wrong and feeling like I'm going to have to explain myself and being unable to just fix it and having to worry about being unable to fix something. I'm about to have a panic attack over it.
