1).  Last nightverisimilar83 and I went out to celebrate the end of the semester.  I had a liter's worth of strawberry margaritas, literally.  But I was still dead sober!  >:-(  I'm very sad about that, lol.  I guess, on the other hand, I can be happy that I didn't randomly break out into hives, as alcohol sometimes does make me do that.  Also, props to my liver for still working, lol.  But damn it, I wanted to watch Frost/Nixon totally trashed.

2).  Frost/Nixon - There are people out there who have said that it's little more than liberal propaganda.  Those people clearly didn't watch the movie, LOL.  As much as the instinct is to crucify President Nixon, the fact is he comes across a fully formed human being who made mistakes.  He's likable, and by the end, you really DO want him to win, even though history has already told us that he won't.  I recommend this film especially to she_who_dares, lol.  In some ways, it's very reminiscent of Good Night and Good Luck, but this was way more engaging.

3).  There's so much I want to say about the Cuddy baby arc but can't... ironically because of all this baby fic bullshit.  I should have just closed the word document the moment I realized this stupid fic was going to take me more than 3 days to write.  I don't even know how I ended up neck deep in so much kid fic.  I hate kids!  D:

Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, less than you thought, or about what you predicted?
Until I actually went through for this meme, I thought I really hadn't written much of anything this year.  So thanks, meme, for making me feel like I actually DID something, lol.  This is WAY more than I thought it was.

Where did you publish/archive your stories?
On fanfiction.net and squeeka_quack.  Of course, if it was part of a challenge/fest, then the fics were also posted there.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you never would have predicted in January 2008?
Um... probably none.  I've branched out in what I've written, I guess.  But I wouldn't say that it ever came as a shock, lol.

What's your favorite story this year?  Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest.
My first instinct was to say When the Word Ends, because that definitely came out exactly as I had envisioned it.  But on further reflection, I guess I have to say No Other One is my favorite.  It's nowhere near done, nowhere near as popular as I would love it to be, but I've truly come to love it.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about it in some way.  I don't think it's my best work, but I think I will think of it that way once I've finished it and had time to distance myself from it.

Okay, NOW your most popular story.
Um... Share Offices, not Feelings.  Which is surprising, because I thought I was being way too loquacious for people interested in reading smut.

Story most underappreciated by the universe?
Edge of Chaos.  I really believe that's the best thing I've ever written.  But since everyone and their dog read post-Wilson's Heart fics, I think the market was waaaay oversaturated.

Story that could have been better?
They all could be better, truthfully.  But out of all of them, I really wish I liked Twenty Moments of a life Never Lived more.  I think that could be way better.  Actually, I'm surprised by people's appreciation for it, considering I am kind of downright hateful towards the piece.

Sexiest story?
I guess Share Offices, not Feelings by default.  Territories Familiar and Unknown was my first smut piece in life, and I felt as though that was really hard to do.  Nobody would SHUT THE FUCK UP in that fic.  That one still makes me go WTF, guys.  On the other hand, I really loved Gazing Through Windows.  But... I can't really call that sexy, cause Horatio gets laid in that fic, and that means imagining David Caruso naked and NO.  Share Offices was really the first piece where things worked for me on every level.

Most fun story?
A Small Victory, probably.  It's an idiotic piece to be sure, but I really do kind of like it.

Story with the single sweetest moment?
No Other One.  I don't really like children at all, but I do feel like, for whatever reason, I am really capable of making the positive parenting moments sing in this fic.  Just thinking about the Yelina/Kyle moments or the flashback where Horatio climbs into Ray Junior's fort puts a smile on my face.

Story that made you cry?
Um... maybe Edge of Chaos.  Aside from its lack of popularity and incredibly LONG chapters, everyone in that fic is so damn miserable.  Writing Wilson is very difficult for me in that piece.  It makes me sad.

Hardest story to write?
Probably The Art of Relaxation.  It's my sole forray into Alias fic, and it was a gift fic.  Not to mention, it was Jack/Irina, which... how complicated can you get?  I had the idea outlined almost immediately, but I remember the dialogue coming incredibly slowly, which is unusual for me.  Dialogue is the one thing that I am almost always able to pull out of my ass.  But I really had to work my supper with this piece.

Easiest story to write?
No Other One.  Horatio is incredibly easy to write, even when he pisses me off.  Kyle and Ray Junior are like my own children, I know them that well.  The only one who throws a wrench in things is Yelina, who is the devil to write.  But after so long, nothing she does surprises me anymore.  Really, writing this doesn't even feel like writing anymore.  It's more like looking back in on that really fucked up part of your family, lol.

Most overdue story?
Ugh, I need to update Edge of Chaos and No Other One ASAP.

Did you take any writing risks this year?  What did you learn from them?
- I wrote smut for the first time this year.  I'm not sure what I've learned from it.  But writing it did force me to focus more on the action I was writing and working towards making it smoother.
- I wrote in second person.  I think doing it really added something almost poetic to the piece.  I actually really liked writing in it.  In this ic, I also wrote in future tense... which was just bizarre.

Do you have any fanfic goals for the new year?
- I want to finish Twenty Moments ASAP, but if it continues into next year, I want to finish it.
- Definitely want to finish Edge of Chaos
- I would say finish No Other One, but hahahahaha, that will NEVER happen.
- Write more, I guess.  *shrugs*
