Tomorrow never dies
I was haled in today to meet personally with Larry Holmes...
lol* I turned it down - I just find that funny...
I only did so because I want to face the giant with my team... on schedule for tomorrow.
It will still be an intimate team before the big team board meet, but tomorrow should prove to be quite a day... I had a couple surprise changes at the last minute, but I intend to make them work in my favor... I looked into the building and no torture rooms reside in the basement so I'll just have to stick with plan A.
Later will be the Lenape presentaion and plan for more presentation material before going before city council - I've been a very patient manager but I have to say I want this allllll now now now - I'm just so excited about it all and I start a new project for Da Vinci this week as well.
I keep saying, "What'll they get a load of me" to myself.
Tonight, I also had the fortunate ability to spend time with excellent close friends who are like family to me - who are moving in one week... they'll be 5 hrs. away and that's a nice group of minutes to be away from someone... sigh* I have a lot of friends here and some very close ones, but nothing like them... I was with them in college - they were with me in my first apt., I was in their wedding, I am Aunt Tracy to their first child and soooooo much in between... stop stop tears - go away... God I'm going to miss them.
And I still hate doing my laundry.
