library, la la la.
i cut 9 inches off my hair this weekend! it feels realy good though, for sure. my hair was so long. i loved it, but i needed a change. it's shoulder length kinda, not quite, and is layered... i might go a little bit shorter, but it's good right now.
we went to sebadoh on thursday night at pearl st... i was really uncomfortable, and for kristin hersh i intend to be sitting down! i aggravated that pulled muscle or whatever it is i have in my inner thigh, and it's been acting up all weekend. it feels good right now, though. well not gooood, but not bad. the show itself was pretty good, but i didnt really have much fun. there were lots of friends there though!
we found a few furniture items over the weekend too, for free... a table, a large ottoman, and a reclining arm chair. the table has a glass top, and last night i made a collection of 45's to put under it... i cut them up and glued em together and shaped it in the shape of the glass, so it sits right under neath. i think i need to add some extra reinforcement to the under side though. but it looks groovy. i also bought a lot of fabric for the quilt i intend to make for eben elliott. it's gonna be neat, i'm excited about it. it's going to be an ABC quilt, and have an animal for each letter of the alphabet. i already have the grid all made out, it's not a bunch of squares that are all the same size.... i have to finish the knitted blanket too though, heh. i have quite a bit left to go with that.... and i have some other ideas of things i want to make in the near future, also. la la la.
i got two fantastic letters over the past week!!
one from lindsay & one from emilia. yay! i am slowly working on writing back my letters i owe.... eventually you might receive one from me!
