(no subject)
so this weekend eben attended his first show with eric and i. we drove to allston and hung out at bill's apartment... christina cooked a wicked delicious meal (red potatoes, salad greens, asparagus, chicken, & homemade dressing... mmm!). we went to cambridge to see isis & jesu at the middle east & saw nicole & adam (yay!). tommy was also there with chino... chino, is that his name? i'm a nit wit. and so was brendan but i think he hates me because i dissed barnes and noble. anyways, so seeing nicole & adam was really groovy and they should totally come to our baby shower. and in fact i'm going to mail them an invitation. so that means they have no excuse. it's three months away, but seriously... it's going to fly by!
i don't know if even really enjoyed all of the vibrations though. he seemed cool with it during the first band & jesu but then during isis i think he was a little upset. he was kicking and moving a lot the whole night though. i had to leave the place i was standing and find somewhere to sit. jesu played really well, i was excited to see them, and isis played good too. although by the end i wanted to go cos i was uncomfortable and my legs were killing me.
on the way back from allston the next day (we slept over bill's on this wicked uncomfortable air mattress that killed us both.. and then we went out to breakfast at this place called the Mirror Cafe...) Eric's car completely died right next to the Palmer exit. the oil stick completely shot out of it's little hole there & oil spalltered all over the place. so it was smoking like madddd. my sister drove to palmer and gave us my moms AAA card so we got towed for free, but Eric's looking into purchasing a new vehicle today. luckily we have money saved up for it, but it also sucks because the money was predominantly for eben elliott. but it's all good. eric needs a car for work or else he can't work... so... yeah!
i'm extremely tired.
and i'm sick of looking for volunteer work for jordan, i've been to like 15 places so far. tomorrow or wednesday i have a bunch more to check out... and i'm waiting back on some places to call me. boo.
i'm going to be enrolling in a breastfeeding class soon, and i start prenatal yoga on saturday. i was supposed to start this past saturday but we got that crazy blizzard out of nowhere. in fact they say that it's supposed to snow tonight too!! how ridiculous is that.

eric and i watched "the pianist" last night after we finally made it home... it's a really good movie and i reccomend it. it's definitely sad, but really well made.

& something else... oh the newest ladytron.
i got the first two used off amazon and paid 12 for the two of them combined... and the others, i joined bmg again, haha. i couldn't help it, i needed all the sonic youth's to help complete my goddamned collection! ;) then i got eric joined too, so we're both mentally ill in some aspects, i guess you could say.
