Goodbye NEPA Hello New Haven!
I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAM AT SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN'S STUDIES AND LITERATURE!
I leave at the latest August. Since I do not have a car I will probably only be back for Winter Break(s). Not sure about summers. The plan is two years on my masters and then down to Tulsa for my PhD. in PoCo Studies specifically Irish and Women's Literature. With that background as my one professor put it I will be able to go wherever I want and will be able to become a -- if not THE leading scholar in my area.
I am so relieved I am not going to live in a box!
