Friday:
*cold chillin and biznass meeting with World Beat Center people.
*heart-to-heart with All Campus Transfer Association staff.
*Volunteer Connection cleaning
*Apartment cleaning and reorganizing
*3.5 mile run, to cure nervousness
*Dancing while putting away dishes, to cure nervousness
*Finding a small radio given to students at school for free, turning it on, and the first song playing is "Electric Avenue"
*Latin Comedy Night at 4th&B (word to my date and I being practically the only white people there, and most likely the only white people who weren't married to a Latino person)
Saturday:
*Fabulous chit chat on the phone in the morning
*Bought terrific Christmas Album
*Went to see a Luis Gilbert art exhibit.
*Went to store to buy things to make fruit salad for holiday winter feast party at Robin's house...only to run into Erik, with whom I negotiated to switch duties and make yams instead (IN MY NEW MIXER!!)
*Made yams in NEW MIXER
*Danced in kitchen
*Went running
*Went to winterfeast and had a wonderful time with friends! 15 people came and all brought food, and it was alllllll so so def. :) Mashed Potatoes, turkey, two types of stuffing, sticky rice, 7 layer salad, cranberry sauce, biscuits...and gravy, green beans, pumpkin pie, chocolate cake, biscotti, and plenty of champagne.
ALL HOME MADE. Except for the champagne, though I did learn how people in prison make alcohol when times get tough.
