Apparently I am really hard on my laptop power supply.
It broke again. this is the 3rd time I have pretty much worn it out.
I improvised a temporary repair until I can get home and do a more permanent one.
At least I HOPE I can get it functioning again. :/

Poe's PC has been acting weird.
Random slowdowns, crashes and the Sold State Drive disappearing from bios!

I am using Ubuntu running of a flash drive to run memtest and such on the PC. So far it has passed all tests with the new power supply.
It seems stable and secure. Though it was before, it took about a week to freak out

I will be seeing if I can RMA the original power supply.
I am wondering if I should RMA the new motherboard just to be safe?

New power supply is working, I will keep bench testing it.
I want to keep a eye on the 3.3 volt.

But it looks like the power supply is bad. Hopefully that is the only thing.
I am running some memory tests as well. But one of the dimms passed just fine so far. SO I am reasonably certain the Memory is fine.

I picked up a UPS and power supply to run some tests with.
Hopefully this will help me track down the problem. Though I plan on RMAing as much as I can anyway - just in case.

After a week of working with the NEW motherboard, the computer is doing the exact same thing, again! Rawr!

I am at a loss.

Could this new motherboard now be fried as well? If so what is the part that made it blow?
If the motherboard is ok (and maybe the original is fine then too) what is causing the problem?
