With the return of spring and longer days I find my energy and mood improving. :)
*bounce* so time to get back to the schedule of puttering and trying to get better organized. ;)
With everything growing and in bloom I really want to plant a garden.
Maybe a small planter or some pots. I would love to do a "Salsa Garden". While I have more than enough space, only a few spots in the yard get enough sun. The front yard and back by the pirate bar.
Ironically both places that no longer have water hose access.
My tropical plants are doing ok in the pots so far, but it is time to get them in the ground. One plumeria did not make it through the winter, and the Hibiscus is being kind of wilted... possibly I have been over watering it?
So...
1 - Trim away the old tree roots so I can fix and redo the waterline for the front yard hose bib.
2 - Plant the plumeria in the front planter.
3 - (ugh) chop, chisels and dig the old tree stump out of the corner planter (this will take forever)
4 - Plant the hibiscus in the now cleared corner planter.
5 - get repair parts for the front sprinkler valves and fix them.
6 - run new control wires to the front sprinkler valves. (this will be a real pain)
7 - fix the front sprinklers as best as I can.
Once that is all done it will free up some space for a small planter herb garden.
I will try to plant some marigolds with my mint and see if that helps keep the bug off of it this year.
