Friday I got of work a bit earlier than expected. So I took a detour home (from the hotel I was working at) as stoped of at the sewing repair place listed on the White web site.

I talked with them and the machine is definitely out of timing and alignment. It is supposed to use the general needles. It seems to be a normal thing that happens. So Saturday I brought it in for repair. I want ahead and got the extended service program. It cost more but it give me unlimited service for a year. I suspect that if it happens once it can happen again.

I should get it back tommororw. hopefully this will fix some of the problems I have been having.

Saturday I played with the CNC cutter. It turns out my software was NOT working. I messed with it all night and managed to get it working. (I was surprised, I did it by accident)
Sunday I manged to load a cut program and got it to work. :)
It was crude and clunky, but functional.
Now I need to learn how to use the software better to produce a nicer cut. As well as make loading the files easier.

I lost all my smaller bits. The tray they were in fell on the floor and they all broke :(
So for now I will stick to the (surviving) larger sized bits, which will limit the detail of my cuts. But I probably should learn to optimize the settings for each size bit anyway.

The cut program can only work in DOS. But the zip drive (or flash drive) only work in windows. So I eather need to find a way to make one of them work on the other platform or configure the computer to dual boot. (right now I unplug one of the hard drives)
