(You know I should take some quick pictures....)
The new couch is very nice! We have cleaned and organized (most) of the living room too. Getting rid of the old area rug and relocating most of the clutter.
One unexpected side effect to the hard wood floor is with the cats. The floos is a bit slippery so when they go to take a swing at one another they both slide a bit. Kind of like they were fighting on ice. Heh.
The only draw back to not having a rug is the floors get dusty and dirty so fast! Swiffering only once a day pics up a tremendous amount of dirt! It isn't hard to do. (In fact if we keep things clutter free it will be a simple task.) But I am really thinking about trying out a roomba.
They make a pet hair version with a easy to clean brush. (We have a people hair problem, so many people with long hair in the house clogs up the vacuum brushes pretty quick). I am going to hold of on that for a bit try to get into the habit of using the swiffer regularly and see how that goes.
The next step is to slowly expand the "Clean" area to include the bookcases, dinning room table and finally the kitchen. (Lots of repacking of cabinets)
