Happy, happy holidays, LiveJournal and LiveJournal friends!
As I mentioned in my previous post, I have more pictures to post of our Muscat abode. And darn, I have no idea how I can get through to the rooftop pictures. The USB with those pictures keeps having an "I/O device error" when I plug it in the computer. Following are more pictures of the house's interior.
The House's Green and White Kitchen
leftmost photo: How the kitchen first looked. The table at the kitchen only had two chairs since my dad was living alone. + middle photo: How the kitchen looked after the table was rearranged to have four chairs. + rightmost photo: The cupboards, stove, and drawers in the kitchen.
leftmost and rightmost photos: Views of the cupboards/drawers and stove in the kitchen. + middle photo: The green cupboard with all the little cereal boxes inside.
The House's Second Living Room
There is no TV here so this is a space that could be used for more laid back tasks, like reading.
The Hallway Leading to the Rooms
That door you see straight ahead is one of the three more doors you see when you enter through the house's front door. That door leads to the second living room and of course, to the hallway, and the kitchen on one side before reaching the hallway. The house actually has so many doors, I was getting a little lost my first time there.
The Master's Bedroom
leftmost photo: The room at day with the blinds down and without the lights on. + middle photo: The room with the lights on. + rightmost photo: Another arc in the room that leads to the door of the bathroom.
leftmost photo: My little brother's bed in another area of the house. See the dolphin bed sheet that I had first put on my bed because I didn't know it was my brother's. + middle photo: The spare room after the master's bedroom that turns into my 19-year old brother's room whenever he's there. + rightmost photo: The sign on the bathroom door (which you see at the end of the hallway) that has always been there. It's the word toilet in Arabic.
The Spare Room
Which, as I have mentioned, turns into my other brother's bedroom when he is there.
The Girls' Bedroom
leftmost, middle, and rightmost photos: My and my sister's bedroom.
.
left photo: The wardrobe spanning one of the room's four walls which holds things for two people. + right photo: The view from our bedroom window.
And because during the holidays, I like to make my post on LJ have a little extra, I am posting some pictures from the photo shoots Pat (
pat452) and I have had this month since the time she got back from US for her winter/Christmas break.
photo from nighttime, long exposure shoot last December 10th, 2007.
December 10th, 2007 | Long Exposure

I hope this entry has been nice and pleasant to look at. And for those who have Multiply, here's
a little something to listen to now that the Christmas festivities are here. It's Alice in Christmasland!- my recording, of course. Happy, happy holidays! =D
