Pat (
pat452) wanted a series of photo shoots on the classical elements. Her vision for earth was to make use of garden soil. I had a better idea. To wet the garden soil and then it being mud, to let it dry on the skin. This is not an easy task as after applying the mud on myself, I had to lie on my back under the sun for a period I did not measure the length of. All I know is, it was a really long time. We then proceeded to take pictures after we thought the mud was dry enough. The result: I alternately looking like the personification of earth and a stone statue. We have never had a shoot like this before so we are glad that we did something different. Under the cut below are just some of the photos we took.

That was our second to the last shoot before Pat went back to the States. We plan to do something similar next time. With flour perhaps. Our last photo shoot was supposed to be for fire but unfortunately, it did not end up looking like fire. It did, however, look like something else so that is nice. I will be posting some of the pictures from that shoot next. In the meantime, I have another post I will need to be getting out of the way. Until then.
