It's gotten awfully cold lately... particularly in the last few days. I've been very grateful that I found that new
woolen coat. I, ah, stopped by City Center to get some groceries, and wound up just wandering, looking at the stores, and... well... A gang on those what-do-you-call-them's - motorcycles? - has moved into my neighborhood, and the bus stop is a bit of a walk from my apartment. And I seem to have lost that little spray can (those are so neat!) of - I think it was called pepper spray? The store clerk recommended it as a deterrent, but I'm not sure where I put it, now. I may have left it in my old coat. But in any case, what I mean to say is... I don't suppose anyone in City Center would be willing to let me stay the night? I'd rather not get a hotel room, since I need a bit of refrigerated space for some of my groceries, and several of the, ah, more economically priced hotels seem to be filling up quite quickly. There are certainly a lot more people in the area tonight than I remember.
