So, today we are heading to Jerome, Arizona which is an old mining town that is sliding down the mountain it’s built on at roughly 2 inches per year. It’s a really cool town, and I’m very excited to be going. I haven’t been there since I was a kid - and I think it’ll be great. We’re heading down to payson to have breakfast this morning - well, it’s almost lunch time actually - and it will be after noon by the time we get there as it’s almost half an hour from where we’re staying.
Last night we played two complete rounds of phase 10 and we watched a little bit of t.v. we were both really tired, and I was finally not feeling so sore, so I didn’t really want to do anything but sleep. So, that’s what we did. I had an absolutely horrible dream, but craig was able to wake me up, and he held me close. That’s something I’ve always wanted but have never had, and it made me feel very special and very loved.
I go back and forth about this feeling surreal. We both feel like it’s strange, and neither of us have any idea what we’re supposed to do next - now that we’re married. On Saturday, it was just like I was getting dressed up, taking pictures, talking to people, exchanging vows, and it just didn’t seem real. Sunday, it definitely felt more real - and I was happy and excited. Monday it was back to surreal, and especially so last night. I just was so giggly over the fact that I’m married. I can hardly believe it. And honestly, neither can he. :D but we’re having fun figuring it out.
So, craig is ready to go, and I am too. I’ve cleaned up the room, gotten everything ready to go, and I am looking forward to going out and doing something. We really didn’t date too much in the last year of our relationship - we’re both funny like that…we’ve been waiting for marriage for our lives to start. I’m fully expecting us to start dating more now that we’re married, and I really think he is too.
I am a happy girl.
