Abby,I don't agree with everything Lori said, but I do agree with the whole concept that capitalism is bad. The greed and the me first, me first junk really gets on my nerves. Furthermore, I don't think JC is bad! He makes you happy. Everyone needs to feel happiness. Apparently he completes you the way Daddy completes me. We love him too. But NO, we don't like the military...but we try to tolerate it as best we can for you and for your sister and your families.
Lori, I don't agree with everything you said, but I do understand where you are coming from and agree with some of it! Either way, I can empathize with both of you.
Daddy and I have discussed what we might do if McCain wins. Moving is involved in the "what we will probably do" discussion. And I don't mean within the US!
Daddy and I have conversations all the time! He has no trouble speaking his mind. I don't accept the fact that get never gets to talk. Sometimes that is true. Sometimes I purposely bite my lip so that others in the family can speak. Partners do that. Frankly, we do agree on many things and differ slightly on most of the other things.
I really NEED for us to get along. Please...
I love both daughters and both sons-in-law. I do not love the military. I do accept it because I have no choice. My need to fix things has not helped! I realized some time ago that, no matter how hard I try, I just can't change some things. So I just do the best I can to make a difference where I can. That has to be enough......
