=( I think I have the flu
Hello All,
I am not feeling so wonderful today (or for the last several days for that matter). Gheez! I don't have time to be sick!!! If it's the flu, my flu shot didn't work to well (somehow I think that $20 might have been better spent).
I need to focus on researching a couple of issues for grad school. Need to and can manage to make my brain function with this headache are two entirely different things. Well, maybe I should try to visualize a peaceful day in the Hill Country. Then again, that will make me cry (I like it here in Denton and love the professors with whom I work and study, but I cherish the feelings of peacefulness and joy that the mere mention of the Hill Country immediately bring to mind. Then I remember those days are the past, not the future). I must make my own NEW peaceful places in the coming years.
Wow! This has gone from being an I'm sick post to a I'm sick and depressed post. I have even less time for that. So....I need to take some valium, find my glasses, and start scanning a couple of books. If that doesn't help, I'm screwed!
It looks like John and I will be taking a short travel course to DC, Williamsburg, and Monticello next summer! Maybe I should just focus on that....it should cheer me. I have the flu...I should just admit that I'm not going to feel cheery, no matter what!
John appears to be coming down with it too!
