++ A diverse crowd - democrats, republicans, Christian evangelical, Jews, peace activists, actors, athlets, etc - came out to Rally for Darfur yesterday. It warms my cynical little heart to know there's still a cause everyone can agree on.

Hi! Not, luna_k, obviously. I was compiling this information for my own use, but I figured that members here could use it as well. In the wake of Katrina's aftermath, we have several celebrity telethons occuring in the coming days in order to raise money for the victims.
