I don't know about you, but I could use some good/funny news. Here's some:

Going back a few days, here's Clinton's response to Ann Coulter on Letterman. Heeee.

Eating curry even every six months helps keep the elderly mentally sharp.

Those people who consumed curry "occasionally" (once or more in 6 months but less than once a month) and "often" (more than once a month) had better [cognitive test] results than those who only ate curry "never or rarely".

They credit this to curcumin, a compound found in turmeric, although why they think it's the turmeric instead of any of the other common spices found in curry (cumin, coriander, etc.) the article doesn't say. But turmeric is known to be an antioxidant. If you don't like curry, I recommend sprinkling a little turmeric on eggs - it adds a nice tangyness when you cook it with scrambled eggs or stir it into egg salad. Mmm, egg salad.

The Republican Party in Fresno California is using a bait and switch to change people's voter registrations to Republican. The funny? The bait is a marijuana legalization petition. Ahahahaha. They're so high.

(Go Lamont!)

republicans, food, amusing
