Speaking of Racist Fuckheads
I see the Minutemen came to my fair city yesterday... all 150 of them. ::eyeroll:: Let's recap: millions of people in cities across the country came out in support of Immigrant Rights and Amnesty, while the MinuteKlan could barely attract 150 people in one city.
I love it.
I also love the counter-protestors who showed up:
Loudly challenging them were a few dozen people gathered nearby, a mix of immigration advocates and other activists who tried to drown out the Minutemen with drums and bullhorns. "Bigots in your suits and ties, we don't want your racist lies!" they chanted. Police tape separated the groups, and when it was removed after the rally, the counter-protesters advanced on the Minutemen before officers on motorcycles intervened.
The counter-protesters mocked the size of the Minuteman rally, noting that it was dwarfed by the pro-immigrant marches. "They claim to have a million members, but this is their big national rally," said David Benzaquen, 22, an American University student.
The Minutement organizers defended the miniscule turnout by saying most of their supporters were too busy working to come out and march. Which was a not-so-subtle way of saying immigrants are lazy fucks who don't work and sit around all day wasting our taxes.
Forget the fact that more illegal immigrants are working - and paying taxes, more times than not - than native-born US citizens. Facts and reality don't make much of an impression on these idiots.
One final thing - any trolls that wanna point out to me that some of the Minutemen are black or other nonwhite races, and therefore not a racist fuckhead organization? STFU, n00b. As they say on Avenue Q, "bigotry has never been excusively white". You can be Asian, Jewish, American Indian, Hispanic, Eastern European, African, black American, Martian, whatever and STILL BE A RACIST FUCKHEAD.
